Kimberly Saunders is a writer and performer originally from Syracuse, New York now residing in Charlotte, North Carolina. Her creative non-fiction focuses on humor and honesty and has been published online in The Furious Gazelle, Sweatpants & Coffee, and Twenty-Two Twenty-Eight. Her dramatic works were featured as part of the SUNY Oswego New Voices Play Festival from 2007-2010. More recently, her plays have been produced in person with Davidson Community Players, Union County Playmakers, Arts for All, and online with the 3x10 Virtual Play Festival.

Boos & Brews
The Dead Parade
Kimberly participated in a new play development workshop with Arts for All for her full-length dramatic work titled Office Hours. A public staged reading will take place in April 2023 in Huntersville, NC.
Boos & Brews with Davidson Community Players ran October 27-29, 2022. Kimberly directed two short plays, "The Dating Game: Halloween Edition" by Pam Coble Newcomer and "Haunted" by Tim Hager. Her play "Help" was also featured in the production, directed by Jackie Carter.
The Dead Parade: Kimberly received the award for Best Horror Screenplay at the Atlanta Women's Film Festival on Sunday, October 2, 2022. The festival included a table read featuring a selection of local actors. It was also a semi-finalist at the International Horror Fest in Utah and then won Best Horror Feature Screenplay at the Oregon Screams Horror Festival.
